My Golf Book Helps Golfers Learn and Improve Their Golf Games

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 - My Golf Book (http://www.mygolfbook.com), a combination of golf accessory, book and training aid that allows golfers to collect, remember and apply information relevant to their own golf games, is now available online. From swing tips to travel destinations, it is a comprehensive user's manual for the game of golf.

With loads of instructional books, videos, television shows and magazines devoted to golf in the marketplace, the number one problem for golfers is applying the information. My Golf Book allows a golfer to sort through the clutter and assemble whatever information works for that particular golfer. The book also allows golfers to record anything learned during golf lessons so the notes are in one place.

"We're not trying to change behavior by suggesting people constantly record statistics or other information from their rounds", says Chris Bystriansky (pronounced "By stran ski"), President and Founder. "We're simply providing an opportunity for people to remember what worked for them in their golf games. This will allow golfers to build on their improvements and move forward in their golf games. Whether they record something once a week or once a year, the point is to have meaningful golf related information at their fingertips."

In addition to providing areas for past experiences such as scores and lessons learned, My Golf Book provides areas for future experiences such as desired travel destinations and goals. "We wanted to encompass the entire golf experience, from the past - in the form of what a golfer has done, to the present - in the form of bringing in one's own relevant improvement tips, and to the future - in the form of what a golfer wants to do," says Bystriansky.

My Golf Book (http://www.mygolfbook.com) weighs slightly more than a sleeve of golf balls, is approximately 5" by 8" and resembles a yardage book. It contains 10 sections including Practice, Tips, Achievements, Goals, Equipment, Scores, Courses, People, Travel and Notes and is 106 pages in length. It is available in 9 different cover styles ranging from solid black to pink plaid which will be changed periodically. The covers can be customized to meet the needs of golf courses, school golf teams or alumni events, charity events and corporate golf outings. My Golf Book sells for about $20.00.

My Golf Book also offers an interactive website where golfers can get professional tips, travel ideas and communicate with other golfers. "I think the best part about the website is the blogs," says Bystriansky. "Even if you have never used blogs before, we'll explain how to use them. Using the blogs, someone can communicate with other golfers and get answers to questions such as what courses to play in a certain area, where a beginning golfer can find a good instructor, what the best golf retailers are and anything else a golfer wants to know."

My Golf Book appeals to any golfer that desires to improve their game or anyone buying a gift for the golfer in their life. The different cover styles and internal sections provide something for every golfer.

Unsure How To Get Started In Golf? It?s Not Surgery
Those who are interested in golf but are unsure how to get started will discover that it is not spinal surgery with blinders on. The first question you probably have is 'Where can I play?' Most communities have a few options. Many people who love to golf, and tend to play often, will become members of a private club, but for beginners that may be too much too soon. Many state and local parks offer golfing greens for players to use for free, or for a nominal fee.

How To Improve Your Golf Swing - Get A Pro Golfer To Help You
One of the best ways to get better at your golfing skills, is to hire the training of a pro-golf trainer. If you're anything like me, you're a "do it on my own" king of person. But this is in many cases the wrong approach. A pro golfer can give you specific instruction and exercises that will help you improve a lot faster that you will on your own. It will also be a lot less painful.
